“Beti ji, I know you think you’re clever. You say, ‘It’s not fair my son gets more than my daughter.’ Or, ‘Why should my wife only get that much?’ Beta, listen carefully: Allah ﷻ already decided.

 

The Faraid shares in the Qur’an aren’t a family vote. They’re divine law. And what Allah decides is more just than anything we could ever dream up.

 

Why You Can’t Re-write the Shares

 

• Qur’an spells it out, line by line.
• Shares balance responsibility: men carry financial duties, so they often receive more.
• Women’s shares are theirs alone — no one can force them to spend it.

 

Example:

One daughter said, “It’s unfair my brother got double.” But guess who’s responsible for her care, her children, her financial support if needed? That same brother. Allah’s system is justice, not your calculator.
